Corporate Contributions
We appreciate the causes and concerns that deeply affect our team members, the communities where we do business and people globally. We believe that sponsorship and support of charitable activities that align with Ares’ core values help spur positive societal impact and encourage employees to recognize the power they each possess to become an agent of change. In 2023, our Corporate Contributions totaled $1,502,710.
Our advocacy for access to quality jobs inspired us to sponsor the Center for Workforce Inclusion’s Equity Summit, the only national meeting dedicated to equitable economic opportunities for older workers. We also sponsored Nomi Network to develop a storytelling campaign that highlights the organization’s efforts to safeguard women and girls from the perils of human trafficking through job training that facilitates safe pathways to employment.
Adithi was forced to leave school in the 10th grade due to financial challenges, putting her at risk of trafficking. With the help of the Nomi Network, she returned to school and enrolled in the program’s digital vocational training course learning valuable computer skills.
Tara was removed by child services from the home of her mother and placed in the care of her grandmother. Nomi Network stepped in after her grandmother passed away, helping her access programs to put her on a pathway to the career of her choosing.
Ares supported Israel–Hamas War relief efforts through a 2:1 match for employee contributions to humanitarian and aid organizations delivering programs and services to those in need. The Firm also donated a total of $1 million to the following organizations to support their humanitarian response:
